I'm taking Canteen's Five Peaks Virtual Challenge...
…a month-long challenge to cover 68km in March - the combined trail distance of Australia’s five highest peaks.
Every year, 23,000 young Australians face the mountain that is a cancer journey. Whether facing their own cancer diagnosis, or dealing with a loved one’s cancer journey, climbing that peak means feeling isolated, lost, exhausted, and confused.
It’s terrifying, and no one should face it alone. That’s why I’m challenging myself and I need your support!
Please sponsor me today and make every km count! All funds raised will help young people, facing their hardest climb, get free access to Canteen’s cancer counselling, peer support and specialised in-hospital care.
Thank you for your support!

Thank You!
Saturday 1st MarIn 2015 I went to the Doctors with a cold, at that visit my GP found a lump and that was the beginning of my cancer journey.
After multiple tests, biopsies and scans I was diagnosed with cancer. I had just recently turned 15 and I was completely shocked. I wasn’t ready for the challenges that a cancer diagnosis would bring.
Canteen supported me and equipped me with the skills to work through these challenges. I regularly attended counselling sessions at Canteen and I engaged in peer support sessions where I got to connect with other people my age who were going through the same struggles.
Although I’m no longer a Canteen member, I’m endlessly grateful for the support they provided me when I was navigating such a tricky time.
If you can spare some money to support Canteen it would be greatly appreciated. Together we can help young people navigating cancer access support.
